Taylor & Aaron | Engagement | Blakeley State Park
I just want to start off by saying that it still absolutely amazes me how many opportunities social media can give to little people like me. So Taylor started following me on my personal instagram I feel like not too long ago, maybe a few months? I got a message from her after she got engaged asking about weddings, I messaged her back and that was kind of the end of it. Pretty normal. People message me all the time for pricing guides, so no big deal.
Then on a random Wednesday she messaged me asking to if there was any way I could do engagement portraits that afternoon. Of course I wasn't able. Y'all know I work full time and if I don't have my camera with me already it just isn't possible, but we ended up working it out so I could take them that Friday. We drove over to Spanish Fort and shot at Blakeley State Park. We walked A LOT. Neither of use had any idea how huge the park was. I kept the map in my back pocket so we wouldn't get lost. But even with all the craziness, everything ended up working out!
We got a few great sunset shots and some adorable photos with their dog. I do have to say that the dog photos were my favorite. I'm a sucker for puppies so I was so excited when Taylor wanted to bring her. I love doing new things and getting to work with new people. It pushes me to be a little more creative than I was the shoot before and always forces me to think out side of the box. So thank you Taylor and Aaron! I absolutely adored working with y'all and I can't wait to shoot your wedding in the Fall!
